Cape Town’s MyCiti bus services will be expanding in November 2013. The new routes are part of the vision of providing the Mother City with a truly integrated transport system. If the service is run efficiently, it could really make life a lot easier for commuting Capetonians.

New MyCiti bus routes on the way

The new MyCiti routes will cover:

From 2 November 2013:

  • Vredehoek
  • Oranjezicht
  • Sea Point (along High Level Road and Beach Road via the V&A Waterfront)
  • Melkbosstrand
  • Duynefontein

From 30 November 2013:

  • The Silo area of the V&A Waterfront
  • Over Kloof Nek to Camps Bay
  • Century City rail station along Century City Boulevard to Montague Gardens (replacing the existing shuttle service)

Look out for updates in the weeks ahead. Well done to Cape Town for making it happen!
