The Pole Factor is an annual pole dance competition held in Cape Town that showcases astounding performances by both amateur and professional contestants in four different genres of the sport, including Pole Acrobat, Pole Artiste, Pole Provocateur and Pole Duets. You don’t want to miss the jaw-dropping feats that unfold as these dancers take to the stage! The competition is intended to demonstrate the athleticism and artistry of pole dance. It also provides an opportunity for competitors to prove to judges and audience members alike that they have that ‘je ne sais quoi’ that makes them a winner. Plus, for the second year running, the highest scoring champion from The Pole Factor’s professional divisions combined (Acrobat, Artiste and Provocateur) and the champions from the Pole Duets division will gain automatic entry into the semi-finals of the International Pole Championship (IPC). The IPC is the most prestigious international pole competition in the world.
