It will be broadcast in over 130 countries and will be attended by approximately 2000 guests and over 1000 journalists and broadcasters. The draw will confirm the fixtures and match order for the 32 teams participating in the World Cup.

Entertainment lined up for the World Cup Final Draw includes performances by the Grammy award-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, Beninoise singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo and South African music icon, Johnny Clegg. The 90 minute live show starts at 19h00 local time/18h00 CET.  Expect guest appearances by some of the biggest names in sport as they join us in Cape Town for the Final Draw. FIFA has appointed the SABC (South African Broadcasting Corporation) for the production of the Final Draw show, while HBS (Host Broadcasting Services) will broadcast worldwide as overall Host Broadcaster.

Do you have tickets for any of the World Cup Cape Town matches? I have tickets for one of the first round games and I’m really looking forward to seeing which two teams will be playing in that match.

If you have tickets I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a great feeling knowing you’ll be attending one of the matches. I’m sure the vibe in Cape Town is going to be awesome, whether you’re at the stadium or just out and about in the Mother City watching the games elsewhere. The new stadium in Green Point is scheduled to be complete by 15 December 2009. I look forward to seeing it when it’s finished. It’s officially going to be known as Cape Town Stadium.

I will post details of which teams are playing in the Cape Town matches as soon as that information is available.
