The official Cape Town FIFA Fan Fest™ will be located at the Grand Parade in Cape Town. The concept of the FIFA Fan Fest™ was highly successful during the previous World Cup, which was held in Germany in 2006. It’s a place where residents and visitors have the opportunity to gather and watch all World Cup matches on large screens.

The FIFA Fan Fest™ at the Grand Parade will be open daily from 11h00 until 23h00 and access will be free. Extensive work on the Grand Parade has been done to make it ready to be equipped with the state-of-the-art audio and visual systems, which are required of FIFA Fan Fest™ locations. The historic Grand Parade is flanked by South Africa’s oldest building, the Castle of Good Hope, as well as Cape Town’s City Hall and the recently upgraded Cape Town Railway Station.
The fan park will accommodate 25,000 fans daily and the best of local entertainment will be at the venue to entertain the fans. A 2km fan walk will link the Grand Parade to the new Cape Town Stadium in Green Point. Parking areas will be available with a pick-up and drop-off bus service.
