We’re starting something new on the website today. It’s called the ‘Best of Cape Town’ series. I’d like to know from you where to find the best of Cape Town. We’re kicking things off with pizzas. If you know where to find the best pizzas in Cape Town, post a comment below.
Personally I love Col’Cacchio Pizzeria in Camps Bay (Tel No: 021 438 2171). The pizzas are delicious and there are plenty of options on the menu. The views are also superb. Another favourite is Borruso’s located in Rondebosch (Tel No: 021 689 1756/9) and also Kenilworth (Tel No: 021 761 5822). These restaurants offer some of the best thin-base pizzas in Cape Town.
[UPDATE: My new favourite pizza spot in Cape Town is Bardelli’s in Kenilworth (Tel No: 021 683 1423) – absolutely superb pizzas and some of the best toppings I’ve ever seen and tasted. Pizzas like ‘The Don’, ‘Papa G’ and ‘Pacchiri’ are highly recommended.
When it comes to take-out, Pizza Fair in the Old Constantia Village (Tel No: 021 794 3250) is one of my favourites and Butler’s Pizza (www.butlers.co.za) is always a winner.
Let me know where your favourite pizza spots are. Feel free to post a comment and share your thoughts.
Cheers,
Adrian
