RSS FEEDI popped into Woolworths today and was pleased to see the new Parlotones Giant Mistake wine on the shelves. Giant Mistake is a 2008 red blend and is made by winemakers Hands On Wine in collaboration with The Parlotones and Woolworths.
Parlotones 'Giant Mistake' - Now available at Woolworths.
Kahn Morbee, front-man of The Parlotones, wrote the wine notes: ‘…you will experience spontaneous bursts of juicy berries with a splash of aromatic coffee chocolate. A subtle hint of exotic spices will tickle your tongue and your mouth will become engulfed with vibrant personality…’.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Shiraz (23%), Pinotage (12%) and Cabernet Franc (11%). It costs R79.95 a bottle and is available at the following Woolworths stores in the Western Cape:

The Parlotones have become quite a marketable band. Or should I say brand? Well done to the guys.

Recently I got some bottles of wine as a present. The person who brought it to me, has bought the wine in some place of vacation.
It was a very good wine but I only know the name “Giant Mistake” and I cannot find this wine in my place: “Flanders in Belgium”, some towns in my region: Hasselt, Genk, Tongeren, Diepenbeek”
Now I just found your website and my question is simple: “Do you have distribution of your great wine in my place?”

I’ve already seen those list but all of them are in Germany, nothing in Flanders unfortunately.

Meanwhile I’ve found out that there’s one place on the list in Germany (Aachen).
It’s about 60 – 70 km from my home in Belgium.
Perhaps I’ll go there on a sunny day to make a nice trip and check out if I can find it overthere.
