How about some good South African music with an interesting twist? Think of your favourite local music acts – Flat Stanley, Just Jinjer, Watershed, aKing, Gang Of Instrumentals and Louise Carver playing their biggest hits, backed by a 65 piece symphony orchestra. That’s what you can expect at the Grand Arena at Grand West Casino on Saturday 21 August 2010.
The concert is brought to you by Heineken® and 5FM and it’s sure to be a night of amazing music. Andy Mac, frontman for successful SA band, Flat Stanley, came up with the idea and he’s been the driving force behind the musical experience, entitled ‘Symphonic Rocks’.
It’s a really cool idea and I’m definitely looking forward to going to this show. Tickets cost R150 each and you can book at Computicket. Don’t miss out. It’s going to be awesome.
