See Red Hot Chili Peppers at Cape Town Stadium on 5 February 2013

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are finally on their way to South Africa. Fans in the Mother City can look forward to seeing the band at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday 5 February 2013, while Johannesburg fans can see them a little earlier at Soccer City on Saturday 2 February 2013.

In the world of rock music, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have done it all – five multi-platinum albums, total album sales of over 60 million, six Grammy Awards, MTV music video awards, multiple number 1 singles on charts worldwide, headlining slots on festivals… You name it – the Red Hot Chili Peppers have probably done it. And now they’re hitting South African shores for the first time.

The band has certainly left their footprint in music history with classic songs like ‘Under The Bridge’, ‘Give It Away’, ‘Scar Tissue’, ‘Californication’, ‘Dani California’ and many more. Hopefully the guys will treat fans to all the classics at the South African concerts, as that’s what we want to hear!

Tickets for the Johannesburg show go on sale on Wednesday 29 August 2012 and tickets for Cape Town go on sale on Thursday 30 August 2012 (both at 09h00, from Computicket). Prices range from R315 to R715 for Johannesburg and R215 to R665 for Cape Town.
