RSS FEEDThe Newlands Charity Challenge happening on Sunday 17 January 2010 promises to be a fun filled day at Sahara Park Newlands. The charity match sees the Nashua Cape Cobras taking on the Vodacom Stormers in a 20/20 limited overs match. You can see Schalk Burger and your favourite Stormers players up against the Cape Cobras, who are the current Standard Bank Pro20 champions.

Currently the Newlands Charity Challenge only consists of a game of cricket. I wonder if they’ll ever take each other on in a game of rugby. As far as I know, they’re sticking to cricket. Whatever happens it’ll be good fun and a good day at Newlands. Ticket cost R30 each for adults and R15 for kids under 16 years old. You can book tickets at Computicket. The game starts at 11h00 and gates open at 09h30.
