Prime Circle is back with a brand new album. It’s called ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ and features 12 new songs (plus a bonus track), including the hit single, ‘Breathing’. The CD is out now and you can find it in all good music stores.
From what I’ve heard, Prime Circle’s latest album has a softer, more melodic edge to it. Tracks like ‘Breathing’, ‘Turn Me To Stone’ and ‘Everything You Want’ showcase the band’s ability to deliver powerful songs, without bringing the house down. Of course, Prime Circle still knows how to rock out and the band turns the volume up on some of the tracks.
‘Jekyll & Hyde’ is the South African band’s fourth studio album. It was produced by Theo Crous, mixed with the help of Kevin Shirley and mastered by George Marino. I’ve always felt that Prime Circle is a band which can really break into the international market. They’re better than some of the international bands out there. At least that’s what I think. The band’s previous release, ‘All Or Nothing’, could hold it’s own in the international rock market and this new album should be more of the same, if not better.
Prime Circle should be out and about soon promoting the new album, so look out for gigs in the next few months. Here’s the track-listing:
- Closure
- Broken Promises
- Breathing
- Everything You Want
- All of Me
- Turning in My Sleep
- Never Gonna Bring Us Down
- I’m Ready
- Worth the Fight
- Not the Same
- Turn Me to Stone
- Jekyll & Hyde
- Brothers (from the Castle Lager TV Commercial)
Well done guys. Prime Circle is a band which consistently delivers quality music and they are carrying on, right where they left off.

I agree, Prime Circle is a band which could easily fit into the international rock market. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the new CD, Jekyll & Hyde. All Or Nothing was brilliant – I hope they can top that album.
I heard Prime Circle on 5FM yesterday playing tracks off the new Jekyll & Hyde album. It sounded great, will definitely be getting the CD.
