New Arno Carstens album ‘Wonderful Wild’ featuring the single ‘Dreamer’, on the way in March 2010

Award-winning South African singer-songwriter and guitarist, Arno Carstens, has a new album on the way in March 2010. ‘Wonderful Wild’ is his third solo album release and features the current single, ‘Dreamer’. Arno is currently based between Cape Town and London and it’s great to see something new on the way from one of South Africa’s favourite rock artists. Check out the music video for ‘Dreamer’ below. It’s an awesome track.

The singer, who started his career with one of South Africa’s favourite rock bands, The Springbok Nude Girls, has shared the stage with legends of the music world. He has performed at the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury, V Festival, T in the Park and Hard Rock Calling and he has supported the The Rolling Stones, Paul Weller, The Police, Simple Minds and Meat Loaf in Europe.

The new album was written, recorded and mixed in London and Spain. Giles Martin, James Walsh, Jim Duguid and Youth helped with co-writing the new material and the album was produced by British producer Youth, who produced The Verve’s ‘Urban Hymns’, along with Jim Duguid, who worked on Paulo Nutini’s ‘These Streets’. Tim Bran handled the final mixing of the album.

I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the new songs. If the first single is anything to go by, we’re in for another great release from Arno Carstens. Check out the new CD, ‘Wonderful Wild’ here.

Ps. Check out this track, ‘Heartbreak Monday’, which was written by Paolo Nutini for the album. Great song.
