Multi-platinum selling rock band Linkin Park will be touring South Africa later this year. The band will perform at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday 7 November 2012 and then at Soccer City in Johannesburg on Saturday 10 November 2012.
With album sales in excess of 50 million, Linkin Park is one of the most successful music acts of the new millennium. The band is made up of Chester Bennington (vocals), Mike Shinoda (rap and vocals), DJ Joseph Hahn, Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell (bass), Brad Delson (guitars) and Rob Bourdon (drums).
Linkin Park burst onto the scene in 2000 with the debut album Hybrid Theory. The album yielded a number of massive hit singles including ‘In The End’, ‘Crawling’ and ‘One Step Closer’. Over the next decade, the guys continued to dominate the rock charts with hits from the albums Meteora, Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns. Living Things is the band’s latest release and the upcoming concerts are all part of the band’s Living Things world tour.
