Hyundai shows some ‘gees’ and mounts giant Vuvuzela on unfinished highway in Cape Town

I collected my World Cup Tickets this morning and decided to get a closer look at Cape Town newest attraction – a giant vuvuzela. Hyundai has mounted a 35m blue vuvuzela on the unfinished highway next to Buitengracht Street in Cape Town.

It’s all part of Hyundai’s ‘Bring the Gees’ campaign and you’ll hear the vuvuzela (actually you’ll hear a truck horn in the vuvuzela’s mouthpiece), every time a goal is scored during the tournament. The vuvuzela breaks the Guiness World Record for the biggest horn ever built, surpassing the previous record by three metres. Look out for it the next time you’re in town. You can’t miss it!
