The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and Artjamming are teaming up to raise awareness for an important cause on 11 and 12 July 2012. On these two days, an Artjamming paint-a-thon will be held at Cavendish Square in an effort to help save elephants from the ivory trade.
The paint-a-thon will see kids aged 5 to 12 years old from all communities taking part, as well as kids from Reach for a Dream. Paintings from the first day will be used as a backdrop on the second day, where 50 children who entered the online competition will team up with celebrities to paint ten special door artworks. These will be auctioned later in the day at a cocktail party and funds raised will go to the IFAW and the protection of elephants.
The event is part of the IFAW Kid’s Club plan to make a difference by educating and informing young people about animals and the environment. With Artjamming on board, it promises to be a fun and educational couple of days for the little ones. Go on, support this good cause.
