2010 Winter specials at Cape Town restaurants:

• Chenin Restaurant Wine Bar:

  • Winter Special – June & July – R60 for a main meal.
  • Choose from: 200g rib-eye steak frites with maitre d’ hotel butter & watercress; Chicken, leek and mushroom pot with mashed potato; or Butternut ravioli with wilted greens, sage butter and Parmesan.
  • Plus, a selection of wines at half price. The specials are independent and available 7 days a week, lunch and dinner.
• Cru Café Wine Bar & Restaurant:

  • Breakfast special for two: Only R85! Choose between our Classic or Smoked Salmon Breakfast. Includes a glass of orange juice or a Cappuccino.
  • Crazy Winter Special for two: Only R119! Any two pastas and any two glasses of wine (pre-selected). Pasta’s on offer are: Linguine Genovese, Penne Vesuvio, Spaghetti ala Chittara and Beef Fillet Tagliatelle.
  • Valid Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner.

  • Dinner: 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing per course – R380
  • The winter tasting menu will be served only from 19h00 – 20h30. Please note the 3 course lunch menu will not be available for dinner. Closure dates: 9th – 29th August 2010
• River Café:

  • Children eat free (1 child per dining adult, Monday to Thursday only). Lunch and Dinner Winter Menu available Monday to Saturday. Breakfast: 20% discount on tables of 10 or more with a “Breakfast Discount Coupon”. This coupon is downloadable from our website www.constantia-uitsig.com. Closure dates: 24th April – 8th May 2010
• Winter Menus for Constantia Uitsig Restaurant, La Colombe and River Cafe are available from 1st May – 30th September 2010, except for Sunday lunch, and are subject to seasonal and inspirational changes.

  • Winter special: Half price sushi and cocktails – runs from Monday to Saturday 12h00 – 19h00 and Sunday 12h00 – close.
  • Continuous specials: 26 Piece Sushi Platter – mixture of salmon and tuna, California rolls, nigiri, sashimi, salmon roses and rainbow rolls for R99 OR Kilo of prawns served with your choice of side for R99.
• The Polana:
