Yesterday, I took a drive through to the Foreshore to collect my World Cup tickets. What a pleasant experience. I know there have been a lot of problems lately with the sales offices, as people have been trying to get their hands on the remaining tickets. But I must say that collecting tickets appears to be a smooth and well-run process.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and keep things moving along. There was a queue of about 20 people when I went through but I had my tickets within ten minutes. The vibe was really good as well. Everyone was chatting about which games they’re going to and how much they’re looking forward to the tournament. You also receive a booklet with your tickets, which contains useful ticketing related information and also details on the stadiums.
So, I’d like to say thank you to the staff at the Cape Town ticket collection centre. From my experience, it looks like you guys and girls are doing a superb job. Well done.
The Cape Town ticket collection centre is located in The Spearhead Building at 42 Hans Strijdom Avenue, Foreshore.

What do you need to bring with you to collect the tickets? Is it an automated process? Thanks!
Hi Trevor,
Bring your ID book and the credit card you used to buy the tickets. I found the staff to be very helpful and I had my tickets in no time.
Best regards,
Adrian
Thanks Adrian will do!
I just came back from the airport (CPT International), wanted to pick up my tickets. After information pointed me in the right direction, I found the ticket dispensing machine, inserted my credit card and viola, got all my tickets, no problems!
Good stuff! Can’t wait for Friday!
That’s great Willie, glad to hear it. Yup, the self-service ticket terminal is now available at Cape Town International Airport, so you have two options in Cape Town for collecting tickets.
