94.5Kfm K-Day Music Festival – Lourensford Wine Estate: 20 March 2010

It’s best to get your tickets early for this one as it’s destined to be sold out like last year. The annual Kfm K-Day Music Festival is happening on 20 March 2010 at the Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West. The concert, which is brought to you by 94.5Kfm and Santam, features ten of the best South African bands and solo artists.

Bring your family and friends and a picnic basket and enjoy the music of Goldfish, Prime Circle, HHP, Lira, Flat Stanley, Sasha Lee, Jamali, Jesse Clegg, Freshlyground and BlackCurrent. The concert starts at 11h00 and continues through to 19h30 on the beautiful grounds of Lourensford Wine Estate. Tickets cost R160 each for adults and R80 each for kids (from three to twelve years old). You can buy tickets at Computicket.

Ps. If you haven’t checked out the new Goldfish CD, ‘Perceptions Of Pacha: REMIXED’, check it out here. And be sure to check out Jesse Clegg’s CD, ‘When I Wake Up’ here – also highly recommended.

    Hi Danielle,

Computicket says no alcohol, only food and picnic baskets allowed. But

  11. Adrian says:

Cape Town electro duo Lochnville have also been added to the line-up. Look out for their hit ‘Sun In My Pocket’ on the day. Cheers

  12. Liz te Roller says:

You rocked, had kids and grandkids. Organization brilliant except for not allowing umbrellas and running out of chick drinks. Will be back, but will have to leave littlies behind because of no shade.

  13. Samantha says:

Hi! We were at K day yesterday. Yes, it was nice, but not what I expected. Firstly, many people had there ambrellas and chairs. We were dissapointed, because we would have taken ours aswell to protect the children from the sun. Then the play area, why was it so expensive? We had to pay for them to jump on 3 castles! There wasn’t much else to do for them.

  14. Adrian says:

K-Day 2011 is on the way in March. It’s moving to Val De Vie Wine Estate in Paarl. The first three acts have been confirmed – Prime Circle, Loyiso and Danny K. Tickets are already on sale from Computicket – R160 for adults, R80 for kids. I’ll post more details when more info is available.
