Rewind at the 80s festival – GrandWest Arena: 31 October 2012

If you love your 80s music, then this one’s for you. The GrandWest Arena will be hosting a massive 80s Rewind concert on Wednesday 31 October 2012, showcasing some of the decade’s biggest artists. Concert-goers can look forward to performances from Rick Astley, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Imagination featuring Leee John, Nik Kershaw and Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet.

The four hour concert will feature some of the biggest hits of the 80s such as ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, ‘Heaven is a Place on Earth’, ‘Look of Love’, ‘Just An Illusion’, ‘Wouldn’t It Be Good’, ‘True’ and many more. If you’re looking for an excuse to get the 80s fashion out, then this is it!

Tickets for the show are available from Computicket, with prices ranging from R325 to R480 each. The concert starts at 19h00, with doors opening an hour before at 18h00.

Gauteng fans can look forward to a show at SuperSport Park in Centurion on 3 November 2012, where the line-up will feature The Human League in addition to the other artists. Hopefully The Human League will make a turn here too!
