RSS FEEDI’ve been listening to 567 Cape Talk lately and they’ve been running a great competition for small businesses based in Cape Town. The 567 Cape Talk & Nedbank Small Business Awards is a competition where listeners can nominate a small business they believe is making a difference. Successfully nominated businesses are featured on 567 Cape Talk by Aden Thomas (6am – 9am, weekdays) and John Maytham (3pm – 6pm, weekdays) on their shows. The listener who nominates the business has a chance to speak on the show and then a spokesperson for the nominated business gets a chance to explain what services and products the small business offers.
The winning business will be announced at the Small Business Awards Gala Evening, which will take place at Hanover Street in Grand West Casino on 18 November 2009. The main prize is an advertising package on 567 Cape Talk, which consists of the production of a professional radio advert. This includes scripting, a voice over artist and studio time as well as online exposure on www.capetalk.co.za. The winning small business will also receive two World Cup Semi-final tickets and a Nedbank Small Business Credit Card courtesy of VISA.
