If you’re looking for a food festival which brings together Cape Town’s finest restaurants, award-winning wineries, premium drink brands, niche food exhibitors and fantastic entertainment, then this is the festival for you. Taste of Cape Town is happening at Rhodes High School in Mowbray from Wednesday 24 March 2010 to Sunday 28 March 2010.

It’s the third edition of the festival and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. Get your tickets if you’re keen to sample signature dishes freshly prepared by highly acclaimed chefs whilst exploring specialist culinary delights, sampling fine beverages and enjoying a fabulous program of music and entertainment.

- Friday 26th March 2010: 18h30 – 22h30
- Saturday 27th March 2010: 13h00 – 17h00; 18h30 – 22h30
- Sunday 28th March 2010: 12h00 – 17h00
There are a limited number of tickets available and bookings are advised. Book through Computicket on 083 915 8000 or www.computicket.com. Entrance is free for children under 12. Tickets cost:
- R80 Standard – Entrance and free access to P’nP Fresh Living Chef’s Theatre, Checkers Wine Route wine and cheese tastings, Grolsch Beer academy and various other gastro features at the Festival.
- R170 Premium – Including R100 worth of Taste of Cape Town CROWNS*.
* CROWNS, the festival currency, can be bought along with festival tickets beforehand or on the day. Guests can use them to pay for sample dishes from restaurants or drinks from exhibitors and bars. Each Taste of Cape Town CROWN is worth R5 and prices range from 4 to 8 CROWNS per dish. Change is offered in CROWNS only.
