What can you expect?
‘This will be a very special, extraordinary and exclusive CD launch – the audience will enjoy the music on its own, the music and dancing together and they will hear about the secrets and stories behind the Music.’ Stanislav Angelov.
‘The music on Tango Club is funkier and more modern.’ – original compositions which give the album a Proudly South African feel.
‘This exciting new offering has a real South African twist that sets their work apart from others and explores the boundary of jazz and other modern Latin genres.’ Mark Hoeben.
The group has been polishing its tango shoes for over a decade and has attracted media attention and radio and television airtime throughout South Africa, and as far afield as Buenos Aires, Bulgaria, UK, Germany Holland etc. They have been seen on stage and in concert halls throughout the country, at all the major festivals such as Aardklop, Grahamstown and Klein Karoo Nationale Kunstefees
The four musicians are well known to many of us: Stanislav Angelov (Bandoneòn & Accordion), Jacek Domagala (Violin), Albert Combrink (Piano) and Charles Lazar (Double Bass). They will be joined on stage by 3 guest artists – Willie van Zyl (Saxophones), James Grace (Guitar) and Kevin Gibson (Drums), to present their new album to the public and the leading media.
