Cape Town International Jazz Festival at the CTICC: 3 & 4 April 2010

The eleventh edition of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival is happening at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 3 and 4 April 2010. There’ll be 40 international and African stars performing on the two nights and it promises to be one of the best music festivals Cape Town has seen to date.

Melodytrip ranks the Cape Town International Jazz Festival as no.4 in the world, placing the event above other famous jazz festivals such as Switzerland’s Montreaux Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland. The festival is fondly known as ‘Africa’s Grandest Gathering’ and attendance figures have risen from 14,000 to 32,00o in the last ten years.

    Allou April, Jeff Lorber and La Melodia have been added to the line-up. And George Benson will be performing on both nights! Enjoy.
