The second episode of Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina has just finished and it looks like it’ll be an entertaining season of the popular reality show. The production of the show looks good and there’s an interesting mix of characters. New host Nico Panagio, who replaced Mark Bayly, is also doing a fine job of hosting the show.

The 18 celebrity contestants are playing for prize money, which sees the winner get R500,000 for themselves and charities of their choice. Location-wise, it’s happening on the small island of Santa Carolina, which lies 14km west of Bazaruto, Mozambique. The show is produced by Endemol South Africa and consists of 14 hour-long episodes, with the live finale happening on 21 April 2010.
Catch Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina on Wednesday evenings at 19h30 on M-Net and M-Net HD. What do you think of the series so far? Feel free to share your thoughts and post a comment.
