Kirstenbosch Carols by Candlelight: 17 – 20 December 2009

The ever-popular Kirstenbosch Carols by Candlelight will be happening from 17 December – 20 December 2009. Grab a picnic basket and blanket and come along with your family and friends to enjoy a wonderful programme of traditional Christmas carols.

This annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch and is sponsored by Pick n Pay. It’s one of the most beautiful settings in Cape Town and the carol singing will be accompanied by a nativity tableau. The ‘Kirstenbosch Wave’ traditionally ends the evening and is a moving spectacle.

You can buy tickets at Pick n Pay stores in the Western Cape. The entrance fee on Thursday 17 December 2009 is R40 for adults and R20 for children. On Friday 18 December to Sunday 20 December 2009, the tickets cost for R50 for adults and R30 for children. The gates open at 17h00 each day and your entrance fee includes a candle and song-sheet.
