    Hi Judith,

Thanks for your message. I’m not sure of a party on Table Mountain but will try and find out for you. I know you can go on the cable car – the last car goes up at 23h00 and comes down at 01h00 – that could be an awesome way to see in the new year with your partner. Check out http://tablemountain.net/sunset_special/ (http://tablemountain NULL.net/sunset_special/) for more info. I’ll keep adding to the New Year’s Eve events and hopefully we’ll get some more romantic options. Hope you find something :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Lindi,

Thanks for your message. The Kirstenbosch New Year’s Eve picnic/concert might be family friendly – you could just double check with them on that one. Otherwise you can check out http://www.capetownkids.co.za/ (http://www NULL.capetownkids NULL.co NULL.za/) to see if they have any New Year’s Eve ideas for families.

Hope you find something and have a great festive season :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Adrian,
We’re joining friends in Cape Town on New Year’s Eve and I’m concerned that everywhere we look for dinner in the city is in excess of R1000. There will be four adults and one 13 year old. Any ideas (aside from Kirstenbosch which may be our last option)?
    All the best
    Clodagh

    Hi Clodagh,

I know what you mean, things are seriously pricy! Have a look at http://www.dining-out.co.za/Xmas-Specials.asp (http://www NULL.dining-out NULL.co NULL.za/Xmas-Specials NULL.asp) – there are more New Year’s Eve options on the restaurants side. Good luck and hope you find something :)

    Cheers,
